Yeeeee-haw! I’m very grateful to Sam Michel of Chinwag for letting us have a Tuttle on the UKTI stand in the Expo Hall of SXSWi this year – we’ll be there from midday on Sunday 15th March. I’m afraid that it will only therefore be open to those with a SXSW badge, but if you’re desperate to join in and don’t have one, then let me know via twitter and there may be ways to find a temporary way round (no guarantees, though I’m afraid).
If any Tuttle regulars could bring some regular builders tea with them, I’m sure that would go down well – the caterers only seem to understand coffee and I forgot to bring a stash of PG Tips
Welcome to Austin, mates!
Are we allowed to bring builders tea into the US?!?
See you at Tuttle Lloyd!
Just grabbed half a box of PG Tips from the School of Everything office and will stash it in my suitcase! (Hope the sniffer dogs don’t find it.) Look forward to Tuttle Texas style.
Oh, blimey that’s a point, they have those sniffer dogs at the airport, specially trained to keep Americans safe.
I can’t wait to see everybody 🙂
Hi Lloyd, can’t wait to see you guys in Texas. I’ve added the Tuttle gathering to a list of events on the Digital Mission site, too.
Spoke to the catering folks and there’ll definitely be plenty of hot water and a box of tea (although I can’t vouch for the quality). Just remember to be surreptitous when brandishing your PG Tips.
Also…there’ll be some pastries and fruit for those there early. See you on Sun, if not before.
